Cutvey Offload on its own
For a cart that does not need the rest of Cutvey. Same app, same everything. Pay yearly, or pay once; both are set out below.

Per Mac, for the lifetime of the product
US$199.99 per Mac. Paid once, and nothing renews. The licence runs for the lifetime of the product: every update and new version released as Cutvey Offload for macOS is included, for as long as Cutvey distributes it, whoever runs Cutvey at the time. It is perpetual for that Mac, stays with it if the buyer leaves or the machine changes hands, and can be moved to a replacement Mac from your Cutvey account. Switch a per-Mac yearly licence to the lifetime-of-the-product licence at any time. Not a Cutvey membership, and not refundable, on the same terms as the yearly licence. Consumer prices include any tax, with nothing added afterwards.
Free trial on every route. Downloading the app needs a Cutvey account, and the trial is how you get one. The full terms for all three are Schedule A-1 of the Cutvey App License Agreement.
01 Before you buy
Who you are buying from, what renews, and what happens if you change your mind.
All sales are final. What you buy from Cutvey is non-refundable, including unused time after you cancel. Every new workspace gets the full product free for 14 days with no payment method, so you only pay after you know it works. This does not affect rights the law where you live gives you, including the withdrawal rights below. Cutvey Offload is not sold through the Apple App Store, so Cutvey is the seller and handles all of this itself.
If Cutvey ends the app or ends your licence for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for, worked out by the day. Section 8 of the App License Agreement has the wording, and Schedule A-1.3 has the separate two-year cover on the lifetime-of-the-product licence.

What renews, and how to stop it
The per-Mac yearly licence is US$19.99 per Mac, billed once a year and renewing every year at the same price until you cancel. Nothing else renews: the lifetime-of-the-product licence is paid once, and a membership activation follows your Cutvey plan.
Cancel a yearly licence any time in your Cutvey account under Settings, then Billing. No phone call, no retention flow to sit through. The licence runs to the end of the year you paid for, and the app locks when that year ends.
We email you before every renewal with the date, the amount and the payment method, and your purchase receipt repeats the renewal terms in a form you can keep. If a renewal payment fails we retry and email you.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. A licence is digital content we supply immediately, so the checkout asks you two separate questions before it takes payment: whether you ask us to begin supply at once, and whether you understand that beginning supply ends the right to withdraw. Both are yours to give or refuse, neither is pre-ticked, and neither does anything else.
Refuse either one and we hold supply until the 14 days have passed, during which you can withdraw for a full refund. Give both and supply begins, which is when the withdrawal right ends, as EU and UK law allow. Your receipt repeats both answers and the date supply began, so you have a durable record of it. A yearly renewal continues the supply you already consented to and does not start a new withdrawal period.
The model withdrawal form is Schedule B of the App License Agreement. You do not have to use it. An email to [email protected] saying you withdraw is enough, and we acknowledge it the same or the next business day.
None of this affects your rights if the app is faulty or not as described. Those rights cannot be waived, and "all sales are final" does not apply to them.
02 What you are actually buying
Not the copy. The join.
Verified copying is not a defensible thing to charge for on its own any more, and we are not going to pretend it is. There are free tools that copy with a checksum, and one of them lives inside an NLE nearly everyone already runs.
What those tools do not do is organise footage at ingest, produce a paper trail production will accept, run the whole thing end to end without a person standing over it, actually perform the erase reversibly, or let you collect on the proof months later when a drive comes back off the shelf.
That is the product. The price is set so the question of whether it is worth it does not need a spreadsheet.
Three tools, one run
A DIT normally reaches for three separate tools: a verified offloader, a camera-report generator, and something that makes the card safe to reuse. Cutvey Offload does all three and joins them into one unattended chain.
Three tools, not three bills. One of those three is available free elsewhere, and the value here is the join, not the sum of the licence fees it replaces.
03 Questions about the money
The awkward ones, answered here rather than in an email.
What counts as a Mac?
One licence covers one Mac. A membership activation, a per-Mac yearly licence or a per-Mac lifetime-of-the-product licence each unlock one machine; Solo covers one, Team two, Studio five. A cart that runs two Macs needs two.
Is there a feature difference between the membership copy and a licence bought on its own?
No. There is one edition of the app. The route you licence it through changes nothing inside it.
Do I need a Cutvey membership to use Cutvey Offload?
No. The app stands on its own at $19.99 per Mac per year, or $199.99 per Mac once, for the lifetime of the product. You do need a Cutvey account to download and activate the app, and a free trial gets you one.
What does "per Mac, for the lifetime of the product" actually cover?
One Mac, for as long as Cutvey distributes Cutvey Offload, whoever runs Cutvey at the time. Every update and new version released under the name Cutvey Offload for macOS is included, major versions too. It does not include a separately named successor product, a companion app for another platform, or a Cutvey membership. A new version may need a newer macOS; you keep the last version that ran on yours. It is not refundable, except that if Cutvey stops distributing the app within two years of your purchase you get the price back less one twenty-fourth for each full month you had it. Schedule A-1.3 of the Cutvey App License Agreement has the wording.
What happens if I already pay for Cutvey and then add more Macs than my plan covers?
Your plan covers one, two or five Macs on Solo, Team and Studio. Beyond that you can either move up a plan or licence the extra Macs on their own, yearly or once, whichever suits the size of your cart.
Is there a Windows or Intel version I could licence instead?
No, and there will not be. Cutvey Offload is an Apple Silicon Mac app, on macOS 14 or later. That is a decision about where the app can be fast and correct, not an oversight. The download page spells out the requirements.
What does the free trial actually give me?
A Cutvey account, which is what the download and activation are tied to. Start it, sign in, and take the app onto a real card before you decide anything.
